work work work
May. 23rd, 2017 10:38 amRecent (and always) recurring thought - It's really a bummer that we spend so much of our lives "at work", where work is something that doesn't _really_ benefit ourselves or the general population all that much. All the talk of robotic automation and basic income is really exciting, but I don't suspect that I will get to benefit from it in my lifetime.
Lately I've been feeling like I'm making some headway in songwriting, but there's just not enough time. I get like 4 hours after work to do anything, and there's usually housework/maintenence/etc that needs to get done in that time too. Maybe I will feel like I have more time after this June race is done and I can quit training for it / worrying about it.
